Meet Chava, Stylist
Gene Juarez trained and Instructor of Cosmetology licensed, I’ve always had a passion for anything that glitters and sparkles so naturally the beauty industry became the place for me. There really isn’t a better feeling than the one I get when a client is able to see in themselves the beauty I see in them. There is a saying I love that says, “There is a word for those with the audacity to think they can make this great, big world a more beautiful place one person at a time… hairdresser” This hits home for me. My goal is, and will always be, to inspire my clients to find the beauty in themselves and others. I specialize in haircuts, colors, bridal and occasion hair, as well as perms and highlights.
Meet Katie, Stylist & Bridal Specialist:
Hair has been something that I’ve always loved to do. I enjoy making others feel beautiful and proud of the way they look, whether it be through a new haircut, color, or even a style just for the day. I am inspired by the people and things that I see on a day to day basis, and love trying to recreate or put my own twist on a look that I see.
I recently graduated from The Gene Juarez Academy as a student ambassador, and while in school I also received multiple awards, such as Student of the Month and Featured Student Artist. I can’t wait to take this next step in my career and see where this industry takes me.
Meet Meagan, Stylist:
She has grown up here on the island and has “always had a passion for making people around me feel and look beautiful.” She is constantly looking up the newest trends in fashion and putting her own is twist on things. She is freshly Gene Juarez trained and is looking forward to a fulfilling career in this industry!!
Meet Natasha, Stylist:
Natasha Nichols is a Gene Juarez Academy-trained hair stylist. She grew up here on Whidbey Island, where she worked in the hair industry for a few years before moving to Brooklyn. She lived and continued to work there for a year and a half before taking a few months off to travel Europe with her fiance. Now she’s back for a while to pick up where she left off, with some new experiences under her belt. She’s passionate about hair-cutting and balayage, and in the future she plans on exploring the relationship between hair design and floral design for editorial and wedding purposes.
